Tapping on Oxford Street

Can't believe I was tap dancing on Oxford St in front of dozens of passerbys...

How did this happen?

1 - Sunday: Meet a tap dancer from Japan on Brick Lane.
2 - Thursday: Head to his group's gig at Jazz Cafe in Camden.
3 - Friday: He tells me to bring my tap shoes, he's with his mates on Oxford St. I get there, he asks me if I brought my shoes, I did, he asks me to put them on, I did (omg what am I doing?!?!).

The double bassist and the drummer starts playing in the background, and next thing I know, we're doing a tap (quote) battle (unquote) outside the Oxford Circus tube station, on a wooden plank.
